MicrofiltersWhen
you have signed up with an ISP who offers broadband via your phone line it will
take BT about 10 days to broadband enable it. Once this is done you will need
to plug an ADSL filter (microfilter) into every telephone socket where you intend
to use the phone line for telephone calls, fax data, satellite receivers or a
dial-up modem. Microfilter's enable you to simultaneously surf the net
and make a phone call at the same time. Your ISP usually provides at least
one Microfilter free.
